Q. How often should I have my dog groomed?
A. It depends on the breed of your pet. Contact our groomer via phone, text, or email to see what’s best for your dog.
Q. How long does a groom take?
A. The duration of a groom depends on the services requested, breed, temperament, and condition of your dog’s coat. On average a groom can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.
Q. Do I need proof of immunization?
A. Yes, we require proof of rabies before we are able to groom your dog.
*Proof must come in the form of a copy, a medical record, invoice, veterinarian statement, rabies certificate, or receipt either provided by you the owner or emailed from the veterinarian.
**Please note that a rabies tag on a pet’s collar IS NOT acceptable proof of vaccination.
Q. When is payment due and what form of payment do you accept?
A. Payment is due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and cash. Checks are not accepted.
Q. Do you have a mobile grooming van?
A. I don’t have a mobile grooming van. I bring my grooming tools and grooming table to your home. You must provide a safe environment in your home for me to groom and bathe your dog.
Q. May I watch you groom my dog?
A. While I don’t mind, I prefer not to have the pet parents watch as I groom. Most pets tend to behave much better when pet parents aren’t present. If your pet shows that you being in the room is making grooming difficult, unfortunately, I will ask for you to leave for the safety of your pet. If there is a need for the pet parent to be present such as medical ailments, help with holding I don’t have a problem with that.
Q. Do you groom large dogs?
A. Unfortunately, at this time I’m only able to offer grooming to small breeds 40 lbs and under.
